Beta Valve already had a website in place before Prospect eCommerce, but it was static and provided little information about their products. These issues caused them to rethink their current processes, and they knew they had to review their website in order to boost their online presence. The team tried different methods to better promote themselves such as Google AdWords, PR, and attending tradeshows, where they did have some successes, but nothing was consistently paying off. They needed a long-term solution in place that could adapt to their business requirements.
Beta Valve now have Prospect CRM, Prospect eCommerce and email marketing solutions in place.
It seemed like a logical progression to implement all three as their business evolved. Most of their enquiries now
come through the website, meaning they have more time to spend elsewhere. Not only have they saved time, but the team
have saved money too, as their costs are much lower since implementing the system. Customer orders are processed straight
through to the back-office accounting system, meaning there's no error-prone re-keying through human interaction.
With Prospect eCommerce in place, they can make slightly more obscure products available due to how quick and easy it is to
make them appear on the site. This has meant they have not only sold their most popular products to typical customer, but have
been able to access a slightly different market by displaying more bespoke, unusual products too. The email marketing integration
has allowed them to generate qualified leads through targeted marketing campaigns based on key customer information, and they're
now utilising this even more to view results and monitor engagement levels.
